07 Feb 1913: I've added CFs and MFs to the construction schedule. I'm not choosing this, just taking a look at where this path goes.... 19 Feb 1913: Mexico..... I'm toying with a democratic Ottoman Empire. That might provoke Austria-Hungary into doing something stupid. 26 Feb 1913: I have too much steel so I reduce my imports from Russia. Also not enough oil so I import some from Russia. 27 Feb 1913: That looks better. 02 Mar 1913: We won't have that problem here. 06 Mar 1913: I think 151 convoys are enough so what else can we do? 13 Feb 1913: Time to repair the navy so let's design a more modern light cruiser.... ….and start building some. I sending them to the Black Sea fleet. 12 Jan 1913: I order Army Bulgaria to our new border with Austria-Hungary while Army Thrace is sent home to man the old border with Bulgaria. I also need to relocate my air force. I transfer one wing to Constantinople.... ….and a second to Thessaly in Greece. 14 Jan 1913: Taken care of. 15 Jan 1913: I add a Recon unit to my Infantry Division template. These will probably the last garrison divisions for a while. I start recruiting 4 Infantry Divisions and arrange their training be in Ankara. 16 Jan 1913: In 2nd Army these four old-style Cavalry divisions are upgraded. 19 Jan 1913: Then 2nd Army is sent to Aleppo. 27 Jan 1913: Time to look at what the other powers are doing. The Austro-Hungarians are right in not trusting Italy. Germany does need a doctrine. A navy yes, but not in the Black Sea please.... Routine stuff in Italy.... ….and France. The British appear to be concerned about a German invasion. I found a couple more Cavalry Divisions...

12 Jan 1913: To be honest at the outset of the war I wasn't expecting total victory instead some kind of White Peace with me gaining some territory. While the current situation is a boost for the Empire it has effectively put an end to offensive operations. There is nothing which I can conquer which is also worth conquering. I have a large under-developed nation with a mediocre armed forces. Yes they were superior to those of my Balkan neighbours but they would be useless against the armies of the major powers. I was obviously the only Balkan nation which consistently improved the size and quality of infantry divisions, the main workhorse of this period. I did this at the expense of the navy and air force. In two years they have evolved from 2 or 3 infantry battalions to 4 or 6 battalions plus engineer support and in many cases have a battalion of field artillery. 15 Dec 1912: Now we head north towards Belgrade while maintaining the pressure gen Skopje. 59% towards capitulation so taking Belgrade should be enough to finish them off. 23 Dec 1912: 15 divisions against their 4 are good odds and mine are veterans. 25 Dec 1912: The new Destroyer IV is now available. Four new divisions have also been deployed. I transfer the 3 trained divisions to Army Thrace while the others remain occupation troops. I create an advanced variant of Destroyer IV.... ….and put it into production. It's time for a navy doctrine so I select High Seas Fleet . All are long-term projects.... Army Thrace is busy and on track. 26 Dec 1912: I order one division to take a left-turn to block Serbian units wanting to move to Belgrade. 29 Dec 1912 and we are nearer to their capital Belgrade. 4 divisions forward with 5 more following on their heels. 31 Dec 1912: Hejaz offers more Lend Lease which I accept and we appear to have recaptured Skop...
