Italy - HOI4 - Preparations (I)

I have been reminded that I had no production line for artillery so I fixed it.
I wanted to strengthen my Alpine divisions but I can't because they are considered 'special forces' and 5 x 6 battalions is the maximum until I complete a specific National Focus.
I beef-up my infantry divisions instead with 2 more infantry battalions and artillery support. That used up 20 XP.
I move a couple of squadrons nearer to Austria...
...then assign them missions in the Alpine region.
I'm impatient for new CFs.
Benito fires up sentiment against Austria.
National Focus Industrial Effort has completed giving 4 CFs. Great news!
I select Industrial Effort 2 for 4 MFs.
I select Army 1 and Army 2 then click on the left green '+' at the bottom of the screen to form an Army Group.
Next I select Field Marshall Graziani to command it - the other two are even worse than he is...
I assign the Army Group to the Austrian border et voilà!
I now reorganize the two armies because some divisions are in the wrong army. I transfer all the Alpine divisions to Army 1 then all the mobile forces, armour and cavalry, are moved to Army 2.
A week or so later all the units are in the right armies.
A dozen of them need more training so they are assigned to a training command.
Two research projects have completed: Basic Machine Tools...
 ...and Support Weapons I.
I select two new projects: Concentrated Industry...
...and an artillery upgrade.
Anti-Democratic Raids is an option but I decline. I don't need it because I want to Italy to become a democracy later in the game. (After all the conquests of course.)
Two of divisions are trained so I transfer them back to General Messe's 2nd Army.
Done.
And that is all for this post.
