Germany - HOI4 - Quo Vadis, Mussolini?

05 Mar 1939: The Panzer IV is now available for production.
The Panther looks interesting....
16 Mar 1939: The new 15 cm Howitzer also becomes available.
Now I research the Anti-Air Upgrade.
I immediately put it into production. I don't want to waste resources on the old gun. The Panzer IIIs can be upgraded to StuG IIIs later.
06 Apr 1939: I receive the focus Align Hungary.
I select Reichsautobahn next which boosts my infrastructure enormously.
12 Apr 1939: The doctrine Armoured Spearhead has been researched. I've also been allocating more Air Wings to the Alpine Region.
Next to be researched is Schwerpunkt.
16 Apr 1939: I add Erwin Rommel to my Military High Command staff.
11 May 1939 and Concentrated Industry III has completed.
Improved Rubber Processing is my next choice. It only requires 9 days...
….and here it is on 21 May 1939.
I select Advanced Machine Tools next.
21 May 1939: I plan an attack for Panzerarmee Guderian. (I have no idea why only 3 divisions are selected. I tried several times to assign all 11 divisions.)
05 Jun 1939 will go down in history as the day that Mussolini lost the war.
I send a request to join the war....
….and activate my 3 armies in anticipation....
….and Yugoslavia accepts.
It doesn't look good for Italy.
I expend 150 PPs to advance to a War Economy which gives more CFs to military production.
The confirmation.
06 Jun 1939: My Anti-Air Upgrade becomes available. I haven't built any yet because I have air superiority.
I then select Construction III.
14 Jun 1939: Their defences are about to be penetrated south of Innsbruck (Brenner Pass?)  Their right flank in Istria looks a bit threatened too.
The campaign will be covered in the next post(s). Ciao!
