Germany - HOI4 - Bolshevik Bashing (I)
09 Mar 1941: A more concerted effort is needed here in the southern sector and the two armies should have enough forces to prevail. They just need some time to recover.
10 Mar 1941: That's a blow. Von Kleist commands a Panzerarmee in the north.
11 Mar 1941: That is very good news. It looks like our allies in the north are giving the bolsheviks a run for their money.
15 Mar 1941: No problem Holland. The Soviet defences in northern Moldavia are about to give.
Let's add more pressure in the south of that sector.
18 Mar 1941 and Odessa is about to be captured.
19 Mar 1941: We've taken Odessa - now keep up the pressure, guys!
20 Mar 1941: Further north we are still stumbling around in the Gomel region. The Prinz Eugen-Class Heavy Cruiser arrives.
Let's develop the Type VIIc submarine. The Type IIs are lousy!
22 Mar 1941: That looks more promising.
03 Apr 1941: Great progress on the Odessa front! We had to fight through heavily fortified area, Good work, Armee Magyar!.
05 Apr 1941: Japan is expanding again....
07 Apr 1941: We need to break into the Dniepr bend and capture the Ukrainian heavy industry and their 'Black Earth' region.
23 Apr 1941: We also need to link up with our allies coming from Finland. Good, we now have Improved Artillery Upgrade II available for our soldiers.
The Anti-Tank units need an upgrade next.
23 Apr 1841: I deploy another 20 Sicherungs-Divisionen to secure the occupied territories.
13 May 1941: In the southern sector we are advancing majestically. Special Forces capability has also arrived.
Let us continue down that path with Expanded Special Forces Program.
16 May 1941 and Germany becomes a democracy! The military have peacefully handed over power to a civilian government. In the Ukraine units from three armies are on the offensive.
The next focus Bulwark Against Bolshevism has been selected. It's a very appropriate focus too.
17 May 1941: I choose the latter despite the increases in the Communist and Fascist ranks. We can handle them.
20 May 1941: The Spring Offensive in the south has been very successful.
27 May 1941: Kampfgruppe doctrine is selected.
I have a supply problem in the north so I expand the capacity of the ports.
That ends this post. The Soviets have lost the initiative for good but we still have a long uphill road ahead of us in this vast Russia.
