Germany - HOI4 - Thinking Long-Term
01 May 1942: I'm deploying the two Gebirgsjäger-Divisionen after doing the same for a 4th Fallschirmjäger-Division.
I also disband the 2nd Army Group.
06 May 1942: We can now switch to Assembly Line Production.
We research Excavation IV next.
09 May 1942: Now Belgium cancels its non-aggression pact with us.
25 May 1942: We have completed developing the O Class Battlecruiser.
We need to consider a more ocean-going Kriegsmarine so I select Flugzeugdampfer I. I won't build one though.
Also we need more tungsten. I import it from the USA.
10 Jun 1942: The Recon Company II tech has arrived.
We remain in this sector and select Engineer Company III.
13 Jun 1942: The MG 45 and 12 cm Mortar 42 are now available.
The Sd.Kfz. 251 Halftrack is selected next. Note the its predecessor never entered production.
I cancel the tungsten imports from Norway. Too unreliable....
….and go to the US instead.
18 Jun 1942: The old carrier has already been researched.
Next is the Seydlitz-Class aircraft carrier.
26 Jun 1942: I kick Japan out of the Faction. It was only a marriage of convenience and there is nothing Free European about them.
28 Jun 1942: I import more tungsten, from Australia this time.
06 Jul 1942: Finally I deploy three new air wings to the Leningrad area.
A new role for the Kriegsmarine is planned plus a larger Luftwaffe. The Heer with almost 400 divisions is larger enough. It just needs to be equipped with latest designs.
I also disband the 2nd Army Group.
