….and Mechanical Computing.
Next we research Encryption - Cryptography....
….and Decryption - Cryptoanalysis.
30 Dec 1910: We have finished researching Heavy Industry.
We move on to Radio.
07 Jan 1911: I've added a couple of Armoured Car battalions to the division template. They need more bite....
14 Jan 1911: I import more oil, this time from Romania.
16 Jan 1911: Scheiße! It looks like we shall have to worry about a three-front war.
30 Jan 1911: Human Powered Transport has been researched.
Next we research Mining I.
04 Feb 1911: The focus Send German Advisors has been completed. All is not yet lost.
Our next focus is Political Effort. We have to progress on the Home Front too.
05 Feb 1911. I give the order to upgrade 5th Army's Reserve Divisions....
….to full Infantry Divisions.
22 Feb 1911: I appoint Karl Trimborn to my Imperial Staff. He will streamline my government.
16 Mar 1911: Encryption has been successfully researched.
We research Engineering Drawing next. (I hated that at school)
31 Mar 1911: Great! We've researched Radio.
 Now to develop a Communication System.
07 Apr 1911: The Albanians have upset the Turks at the Battle of Deçiq.
14 Apr 1911: I order 8th Army to be upgraded.
That's all for this post. The Balkans are keeping us entertained but the Italians are a let down. Austria-Hungary's problem more than mine.

28 Jan 1941: Just over one week after we responded to the brutal Soviet assault on Finland we have made considerable gains despite the many handicaps which have confronted us. I start recruiting 10 more assault divisions. I like those figures but look at the contribution of the Allies - ZERO!!! 31 Aug 1941. Our forces have captured Kiev, the Ukrainian capital. Italy - HOI4 - Danzig or War?

06 Apr 1939 - Let us stroll around Europe and survey the mood at the brink of war. The Soviets have a very bad opinion of Germany. That is good news. My wars did that. The same in France. That is very good news. Poland needs all the friends it can get. To be expected. 07 April and the insatiable Adolf Hitler is grabbing more territory. 20 Apr 1939 and Radio Detection has been researched. I now select Advanced Machine Tools . I must keep my industry as modern as possible. I'm satisfied with the situation. 09 May 1939 and Computing Machine research is completed. I can now research Decryption-Frequency Analysis . It sounds interesting, 14 Jun 1939 - Decision day for Poland and they quite rightly presumed that Germany would want more than Danzig alone. Germany now has a justification to attack Poland (game rules). Meanwhile at home my next focus will be Carrier Effort . Prussia - HOI4 - Drang Nach Osten (I)

06 Feb 1917: The Soviets call Georgia into the conflict.... ….and Mongolia too. 11 Feb 1917: Deep penetrations on the Northern Front. 12 Feb 1917: I divert a few divisions from 6th Army south then east to support the southern flank. 14 Feb 1917: The first naval battle ends in a German victory. 19 Feb 1917: I order a couple of divisions to advance on the Soviet capital Petrograd. Two weeks into the campaign and the road to Moscow appears to be free of defenders. Oh, we have lost air superiority over Eastern Germany. 23 Feb 1917: I deploy 6 air wings from my reserves to remedy the situation, 26 Feb 1917: We are at the gates of both Petrograd and Moscow. 27 Feb 1917: I add more MFs to Infantry Equipment and Fokker CAS aircraft. We have captured Novgorod so I send 4 more divisions from 5th Army to Petrograd. 28 Feb 1917: A defeat? 8 old destroyers sunk a battleship and a light cruiser. Give them some medals. We have only 137 dead! Almost a Sunday stroll....
