Prussia - HOI4 - Maintaining thr Pressure

17 Nov 1911: I now have 11 divisions against the 2 Russian divisions. I have to be careful here though because other parts of the front are being neglected. They have less troops than they should have. We need a decisive victory here to keep up the pressure.
20 Nov 1911: Here there is the promise of a breakthrough to Riga but I don't have the reserves to exploit such a victory.
26 Nov 1911: A victory at sea....
….but I lost another merchant vessel in the Bay of Biscay.
My current research projects....
29 Nov 1911: The pressure is building but the Austrians appear to be taking a break.
Breakthrough in the north but I'm lacking a few divisions to reach Riga. I shall have to call the troops back if they advance too far. I'm hoping for a Russian mistake which we can exploit.
04 Dec 1911: We are advancing but we have only 5 divisions versus their 4. Not what I call a superiority.
07 Dec 1911: Another breakthrough, this time north of Brest-Litovsk. Push north Austria and link-up with us.
13 Dec 1911: We have received the Torpedo Propulsion tech but the Russians have received at least 8 new divisions. We shall have to fall back or risk being cut off and surrounded.
The next research project is Improved Submarine Components.
14 Dec 1911: To the heck with the North Pole, I have to divert forces from the attack on Kovno to support my left flank.
21 Dec 1911: I now receive the Field Artillery Upgrade. I somehow managing to rescue the situation in the north. We advanced too far....
I need a better Armoured Car so let's research one a year ahead of schedule.
21 Dec 1911: Another naval victory!
23 Dec 1911: Meanwhile in the West - no change. Good news.
27 Dec 1911: I deploy 5 new Ersatz-Divisions in East Prussia and assign them to 8th Army.
27 Dec 1911: I order them to a weak part of my frontline.
01 Jan 1912: NE of Warsaw we are about to encircle a dozen Russian divisions but they appear to keep on receiving more.
The front further south in AH territory.
04 Jan 1912: I'm breathing better now.
07 Jan 1942: The noose is tightening,
09 Jan 1912: Where is my left flank, guys?
Before I go the Italian campaign in Libya is progressing well. They have better weather too.
I still think we have the initiative in the East and the French appear keen to destroy the Belgian countryside rather than fight the war in their territory. That's fine with me. Bis bald.
