Prussia - HOI4 - Caucasus and Beyond

Now that Ukraine is behind our Armeegruppe I send mainly 3rd Army (pink) south to secure our flank while the remaining forces, including the expanding Besatzungsarmee continue eastwards.
01 Apr 1917: I deploy 10 more Stoßtruppen-Divisionen....
….and assign them to the Besatzungsarmee.
05 Apr 1917: The Soviet provisional capital will soon have to move again. We have columns heading towards Sevastopol, Georgievsk and Baku. All three are regional capitals.
13 Apr 1917: We have sunk Soviet merchants in the Western Mediterranean....
….and also the Central Mediterranean.
16 Apr 1917: Georgia capitulates and....
….we receive some equipment.
I add new MFs to Early Motorized and Armoured Cars production.
18 Apr 1917: Now Armenia capitulates...
….and again we capture some of their stockpiled equipment.
The advance continues. Note that we have captured 3 airfields. They are a rarity in the Soviet Union.
I order 3rd Army to garrison the Caucasus region. They'll need more divisions.
22 Apr 1917: The Soviets are now 78% towards capitulation and we have lost 1K troops.
28 Apr 1917: What a joke. Woodrow needs to have a chat with Henry Ford....he can keep his wagons to help colonize the Wild West.
We have multiple bridgeheads over the Volga river - the Ural mountain range is the next objective.
02 May 1917: We now control enough regions with essential resources that we don't need to import oil or chromium anymore.
So I cancel all our imports. That frees up more CFs for construction.
03 May 1917: We need beaucoup expansion of the infrastructure.
The southern half of the front.
1st, 5th and 6th Armies receive new orders - just keep marching eastwards.
04 May 1917: The situation in the northern sector and we receive the technology for an Early Light Machine Gun.
I select Early Artillery Upgrade I as the next technology project. A 1918 technology!
Finally the orders for 1st Army in the northern sector. We have to occupy that empty terrain to gain 'Capitulation Points'.
That's all for this post. We now have to concentrate on Central Russia and possibly Mongolia too. Bis bald.

28 Jan 1941: Just over one week after we responded to the brutal Soviet assault on Finland we have made considerable gains despite the many handicaps which have confronted us. Italy - HOI4 - Danzig or War?

06 Apr 1939 - Let us stroll around Europe and survey the mood at the brink of war. The Soviets have a very bad opinion of Germany. That is good news. My wars did that. The same in France. That is very good news. Poland needs all the friends it can get. To be expected. 07 April and the insatiable Adolf Hitler is grabbing more territory. 20 Apr 1939 and Radio Detection has been researched. I now select Advanced Machine Tools . I must keep my industry as modern as possible. I'm satisfied with the situation. 09 May 1939 and Computing Machine research is completed. I can now research Decryption-Frequency Analysis . It sounds interesting, 14 Jun 1939 - Decision day for Poland and they quite rightly presumed that Germany would want more than Danzig alone. Prussia - HOI4 - Drang Nach Osten (I)

06 Feb 1917: The Soviets call Georgia into the conflict.... ….and Mongolia too. 11 Feb 1917: Deep penetrations on the Northern Front. 12 Feb 1917: I divert a few divisions from 6th Army south then east to support the southern flank. 14 Feb 1917: The first naval battle ends in a German victory. 19 Feb 1917: I order a couple of divisions to advance on the Soviet capital Petrograd. Two weeks into the campaign and the road to Moscow appears to be free of defenders. Oh, we have lost air superiority over Eastern Germany. 23 Feb 1917: I deploy 6 air wings from my reserves to remedy the situation, 26 Feb 1917: We are at the gates of both Petrograd and Moscow. 27 Feb 1917: I add more MFs to Infantry Equipment and Fokker CAS aircraft. We have captured Novgorod so I send 4 more divisions from 5th Army to Petrograd. 28 Feb 1917: A defeat? 8 old destroyers sunk a battleship and a light cruiser. Give them some medals. We have only 137 dead! Almost a Sunday stroll.
