Prussia - HOI4 - Final Preparations

17 Oct 1916: All my divisions in the Armeeschule are fully trained so I begin by assigning 1. Gebirgs-Division to 8th Army.
I then deploy 10 more Stoßtruppen-Divisionen....
….put them in training....
….and create 6th Army using the trained divisions. I put General von Francois in command and order it to Vilma.
I also deploy 15 Ersatz-Divisionen early....
….and place them in training.
23 Oct 1916: The focus Naval Gun Effort II has been completed....
….and select Equipment Effort II next.
01 Nov 1916: The British are modernizing the Royal Navy....
….while the Italians are improving their infrastructure. They do have a lot of divisions on their border with Austria-Hungary. No support for the Soviet Union!
The Soviets have been making progress and I now have two possible avenues of attack.
16 Nov 1916: I receive the technology Defensive Bunker I....
….and I select Field Artillery Wheels next.
22 Nov 1916: Cousin Franz Joseph has died. RIP. Long live Emperor Karl I. You can also see the status of my research projects as well as the situation at the border.
We have also received another Gebirgs-Division.
08 Dec 1916: I receive the Merchandize Truck Transport technology.
I select Sterilization Effort next.
09 Dec 1916: I deploy a 3rd Fighter Wing to Kovno.
12 Dec 1916: All 3 wings are assigned to the Eastern Poland air region.
27 Dec 1916: The Maschinepistole 18/1 becomes available for the infantry.
I choose the Early Light Machine Gun next.
01 Jan 1917: Happy New Year. The focus Equipment Effort I has been completed.
I select Artillery Effort II next.
20 Jan 1917: I have increased the CAS wings to 48 aircraft from 36.
29 Jan 1917: I have created Besatzungsarmee (Army of Occupation) with 15 trained Ersatz-Divisionen and assign it first to NE Poland.
04 Feb 1917: My War Goal Justification has completed.

28 Jan 1941: Just over one week after we responded to the brutal Soviet assault on Finland we have made considerable gains despite the many handicaps which have confronted us. I start recruiting 10 more assault divisions. I like those figures but look at the contribution of the Allies - ZERO!!! 31 Aug 1941. Our forces have captured Kiev, the Ukrainian capital. Italy - HOI4 - Danzig or War?

06 Apr 1939 - Let us stroll around Europe and survey the mood at the brink of war. The Soviets have a very bad opinion of Germany. That is good news. My wars did that. The same in France. That is very good news. Poland needs all the friends it can get. To be expected. 07 April and the insatiable Adolf Hitler is grabbing more territory. 20 Apr 1939 and Radio Detection has been researched. I now select Advanced Machine Tools . I must keep my industry as modern as possible. I'm satisfied with the situation. 09 May 1939 and Computing Machine research is completed. I can now research Decryption-Frequency Analysis . It sounds interesting, 14 Jun 1939 - Decision day for Poland and they quite rightly presumed that Germany would want more than Danzig alone. Prussia - HOI4 - Drang Nach Osten (I)

06 Feb 1917: The Soviets call Georgia into the conflict.... ….and Mongolia too. 11 Feb 1917: Deep penetrations on the Northern Front. 12 Feb 1917: I divert a few divisions from 6th Army south then east to support the southern flank. 14 Feb 1917: The first naval battle ends in a German victory. 19 Feb 1917: I order a couple of divisions to advance on the Soviet capital Petrograd. Two weeks into the campaign and the road to Moscow appears to be free of defenders. Oh, we have lost air superiority over Eastern Germany. 23 Feb 1917: I deploy 6 air wings from my reserves to remedy the situation, 26 Feb 1917: We are at the gates of both Petrograd and Moscow. 27 Feb 1917: I add more MFs to Infantry Equipment and Fokker CAS aircraft. We have captured Novgorod so I send 4 more divisions from 5th Army to Petrograd. 28 Feb 1917: A defeat? 8 old destroyers sunk a battleship and a light cruiser. Give them some medals. We have only 137 dead! Almost a Sunday stroll.
