Prussia - HOI4 - Frying the French (II)

14 May 1915: 6 divisions from 9th Army have pushed through enemy territory to reach the Channel coast. 13 French divisions are about to be encircled. A major set back for the French.
16 May 1915: Leaving the encircled troops at Lille the main front moves further west.
General von Einem's 3rd Army in Togoland is on a limited offensive.
Our forces are advancing deep into French Equatorial Africa.
22 May 1915: In France 2nd Army is advancing on Le Havre and Rouen. Further east forces are pushing towards Paris from two directions.
Our forces clearly have the upper hand in this conflict. French casualties are more than double that of ours.
The situation is unchanged on the Moroccan Front and there is considerable pressure from Berlin for our forces to go on the offensive.
The Armee Kongo is also continuing its advance northwards.
24 May 1915: Meanwhile in France our forces appear to have lost their momentum becoming bogged down by even single French divisions. In the East the fighting is only sporadic and French units have managed to disengage and head westward. To the right one can see advance elements of 8th Army arriving from Serbia.
Still no activity on the Moroccan front.
In the south at least our forces are advancing. But what is the point of capturing sand dunes the commander in the north is asking.
01 Jun 1915: 8th Army is now attacking from the east in the direction of Dijon while our forces in the north are advancing on Troyes,
In the west Le Havre and Rouen have been captured but the bulk of 2nd Army has been ordered to support the attack on Paris. Berlin believes that if Paris falls the French forces will lose the will to fight.
The French now have 216,000 casualties compared to our 86,000.
Nothing new on the Moroccan front.
The Togoland forces now have the same dilemma as their colleagues in the north. The is nothing in front of them. Only the empty Sahel zone.
07 Jun 1915: Paris has been captured and the provisional capital is now Brest. Our forces attacking Cherbourg appear to be overextended. I need to send any forces available in their direction.
There is also movement in the east. Troyes has been captured and the advance could get underway again because the French appear to have few reserves.
There are now loud calls to attack towards Oran.
Slow progress in the south too but the strategy is to not lose and our forces are not losing.
10 Jun 1915: Most of Normandy is now in German hands but we are lacking reserves to exploit the gaps in the French defences.
In the east there is an abundance of forces but the French also have most of their army there too.
Rumour has it that the military staff in Casablanca are now working on a more ambitious plan.
It isn't easy to recognize here but some of these divisions have marched more than 2,000 km.
13 Jun 1915: France is 54% towards capitulation and the war is only 6 weeks old.
Cherbourg has fallen and the next objective is Rennes. I have at least 6 divisions heading in their direction now.
18 Jun 1915: As I feared our forces are overextended but relief is on the way. I believe today is the 100th Anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo. I doubt if anybody in France is celebrating it, after all they did lose the battle.
The situation is more promising in the east at the moment. There is another pocket forming slowly but surely.
We are now pushing in the direction of Vichy and Lyon. With a breakthrough here we could advance down the Rhône Valley.
The French forces are beginning to break - we must simply maintain the pressure. Bis bald.
