Prussia - HOI4 - Further Modernization
26 Sep 1914: Cousin Leopold had to learn the hard way: You can't trust the French! Three years have past since the Guns of August overwhelmed Europe. Don't forget that the French fought most of the Great War on your soil and it was your Belgium that suffered more than their France. Leopold is a nice German name and today the Grande Armée spricht Deutsch!
06 Oct 1914: I reinforce my Air Fleet in Luxembourg.
10 Oct 1914: I modify the new S49 Class fleet destroyer and intend introducing it into production but....
….on 11 Oct 1914 cousin Carol I of Romania has died. He was a great monarch. Long live King Ferdinand. (Another German name!)
17 Oct 1914: I have replaced two production lines but at the third the ship is almost completed so I wait.
22 Oct 1914: All three are producing the new destroyer now.
28 Oct 1914: I want these Magdeburg Class light cruisers to finish so that I can introduce the new Wiesbaden Class.
02 Nov 1914: A fourth Walloons Infantry Division enters training.
1st Panzer-Division is assigned to 1st Panzerarmee.
I move all the units to the port of Oostende. I'm considering sending the entire army to Africa. There is plenty of room to maneuver there.
I need more oil so let's import some from the USA.
10 Nov 1914: The Motorized Ambulance is ready to be introduced.
I select Mustard Gas next. A breakthrough bonus of +12% should speed up offensive operations.
My capital ship production. Eventually all four production lines will be producing modern Bayern Class ships with 3 or maybe 4 per line.
Finally I upgrade 7th Army's divisions to Stoßtruppen-Divisionen.
12 Nov 1914: I increase Field Gun production (again).
22 Nov 1914: The focus Airfield Expansion has completed.
I select Dreadnought Effort next. It won't help though because those classes have already been developed.
29 Nov 1914: The Wiesbaden Class light cruiser has finished development.
All we need now is a modern Unterseeboot.
I finish this post with an overview of my research projects. The Luftwaffe will be receiving a new fighter aircraft before the end of the year.
I have a couple of ideas how to enable my divisions to receive their full complement of equipment. In a later post though. Bis bald.
