Prussia - HOI4 - Further Preparations

30 Jun 1916: I trim my Ersatz-Divisionen down to 4 Infantry-battalions and an Engineer Company....
….and initiate a 15 division per batch recruitment program. These will be used to garrison conquered territory.
08 Jul 1916: The Büssig A5P Armoured Car is ready for production but I haven't yet decided whether to put it into production. I don't need them for the upcoming campaign.
Also 7 Stoßtruppen-Division have completed basic training and have been deployed at Warsaw for further training.
I choose Aerial Bombs as my next doctrine for the Luftwaffe.
The Soviets are clearly winning the Civil War.
16 Jul 1916: Another Ersatz-Division arrives.
21 Jul 1916: And another....
26 Jul 1916: The technology Reinforced Concrete arrives....
….and I select Defensive Bunker I next.
04 Aug 1916: I deploy two new Fighter Wings to Polesie.
07 Aug 1916: I follow up with 4 Close Air Support Wings.
Russia is definitely looking smaller.
14 Aug 1916: The focus Extra Research Slot has arrived.
I choose Naval Gun Effort II next.
I use the new slot to research the Bergius Process which enables Synthetic Oil production.
My current research projects.
03 Sep 1916: I cancel my Non-Aggression Pact with the Soviet Union.
12 Sep 1916: I begin justifying war goals against the Soviets. 145 days means it will be finished in early February 1917.
23 Sep 1916: The tech Improved Torpedo Propulsion is available for the Kriegsmarine.
The next technology I choose to research is Merchandize Truck Transport.
02 Oct 1916: Advanced Hand Tools have been developed.
I select Maschinepistole 18/1 as my next main infantry weapon.
Germany is well on the path to war now. I just need the Soviets to clean up the border so our troops can attack. Bis bald, guys.

28 Jan 1941: Just over one week after we responded to the brutal Soviet assault on Finland we have made considerable gains despite the many handicaps which have confronted us. Italy - HOI4 - Danzig or War?

06 Apr 1939 - Let us stroll around Europe and survey the mood at the brink of war. The Soviets have a very bad opinion of Germany. That is good news. My wars did that. The same in France. That is very good news. Poland needs all the friends it can get. To be expected. 07 April and the insatiable Adolf Hitler is grabbing more territory. 20 Apr 1939 and Radio Detection has been researched. I now select Advanced Machine Tools . I must keep my industry as modern as possible. I'm satisfied with the situation. 09 May 1939 and Computing Machine research is completed. I can now research Decryption-Frequency Analysis . It sounds interesting, 14 Jun 1939 - Decision day for Poland and they quite rightly presumed that Germany would want more than Danzig alone. Germany now has a justification to attack Poland (game rules). Meanwhile at home my next focus will be Carrier Effort . Prussia - HOI4 - Drang Nach Osten (I)

06 Feb 1917: The Soviets call Georgia into the conflict.... ….and Mongolia too. 11 Feb 1917: Deep penetrations on the Northern Front. 12 Feb 1917: I divert a few divisions from 6th Army south then east to support the southern flank. 14 Feb 1917: The first naval battle ends in a German victory. 19 Feb 1917: I order a couple of divisions to advance on the Soviet capital Petrograd. Two weeks into the campaign and the road to Moscow appears to be free of defenders. Oh, we have lost air superiority over Eastern Germany. 23 Feb 1917: I deploy 6 air wings from my reserves to remedy the situation, 26 Feb 1917: We are at the gates of both Petrograd and Moscow. 27 Feb 1917: I add more MFs to Infantry Equipment and Fokker CAS aircraft. We have captured Novgorod so I send 4 more divisions from 5th Army to Petrograd. 28 Feb 1917: A defeat? 8 old destroyers sunk a battleship and a light cruiser. Give them some medals. We have only 137 dead! Almost a Sunday stroll....
