Prussia - HOI4 - Panzer Development
08 Dec 1914: Another Walloons Infantry Division is assigned to 4th Army.
13 Dec 1914: I assign a new Dockyard to convoy production.
16 Dec 1914: My second Bayern Class battleship receives a 3rd Dockyard.
30 Dec 1914: The new Albatros D.III fighter aircraft arrives.
I add a 3rd Dockyard to my Unterseeboot production line....
….and choose to upgrade my engineers to Engineer Company II level.
05 Jan 1915: I create an improved Wiesbaden Class light cruiser and put it into production.
The ships will form a new fleet in Ostpreussen.
27 Jan 1915: We have developed Mustard Gas which will hopefully help break the deadlock at the trenches.
I've authorized R&D on an armoured mobile artillery vehicle: a Tank Prototype. 256 days of research. It better be worth it.
31 Jan 1915: The focus Dreadnought Effort has been completed.
I select Doctrine Effort next.
16 Feb 1915: I now have 12 Bayern Class battleships planned. The 1st one should arrive in May 1916 at the current production tempo.
24 Feb 1915: I transfer 7 Stoßtruppen-Divisionen from 5th Army to 2nd Army on the French border.
I then add 7th Army divisions to 5th Army.
01 Mar 1915: I deploy 14th Panzer-Division ahead of time and put it in training.
04 Mar 1915: We have developed an improved Albatros D.III A and it enters production. When they are fielded I can send the Fokkers overseas.
At first 5 MFs are assigned to the production line.
06 Mar 1915: I create a new Air Fleet near Munich just in case the Italians play naughty.
08 Mar 1915: Another Air Fleet is created near Posen.
A Panzer-Division has 3 Armoured Car battalions.
By reducing the compliment to two battalions I can hopefully alleviate the deficit pro division.
13 Mar 1915: That mage a huge difference!
In a Stoßtruppen-Division the Artillery Support Company has 24 guns in addition to the 108 guns assigned directly to the Brigades. I remove the Support Company from the template....
….and add a Field Hospital unit instead. That is also a valuable support company for a division.
That ends this post. I want to do more in Africa in the next post. Bis bald.
