Prussia - HOI4 - Unrestricted Warfare (I)
13 Dec 1912: After reorganizing our forces are ready for business. 10th Army has been assigned to pacifying occupied territories to prevent revolts and sabotage.
14 Dec 1912: All three armies of Army Group 1 are on the offensive. Mid-right is the vanguard of our veteran 1st Army arriving in theatre.
The French want to open a new front? No problem. General von Mackensen's 1st Army is available.
A lot of naval activity on the Macedonian front. Are the Entente reinforcing or evacuating?
15 Dec 1912: I've had a 'Low Supplies' warning so I shall increase the infrastructure to at least Level 8 in the region.
19 Dec 1912: I decide not to field any more Ersatz-Division only Stoßtruppen-Division (Assault Divisions).
1st Army is assigned to a section of the front and is given an objective: Besançon.
But first break through their defences.
22 Dec 1912: The national focus Aviation Effort has been completed.
I select Equipment Effort next. That 15% bonus will be useful.
I also deploy a new Zeppelin Wing at Luxembourg airfield to bomb French industry.
25 Dec 1912: My Christmas present is the doctrine High Seas Fleet. The Kriegsmarine will be overjoyed.
I decide to research the technology for the Krupp 75mm M1903 artillery piece.
Nothing but long-term research projects.
26 Dec 1912: The Christmas truce is over. Put your footballs away and starting shooting more than goals.
01 Jan 1913: So the Italians want a claim to our African colonies. Good luck with convincing the British and the French.
02 Jan 1913: There appears to be a few more enemy divisions in Montenegro so no evacuation. Good because I would rather have them here than in France or Belgium.
Turkey is looking very neutral and has a Non-Aggression Pact with Italy (and Soviet Union).
A look at the big picture before we finish this post. We are still the only European power with an air force and have by far the largest army. Our navy is second only to the Royal Navy. 1912 was a good year for Germany.
What will 1913 bring? A lot of blood....
P.S. Where is the USA on that table?
