Prussia - HOI4 - War in the East

01 Jun 1914: Well this is a surprise. Georgia declares war on the Soviet Union!
Azerbaijan does the same...
….and Armenia too.
Well this is unusual.
Well there is no fighting.
All three nations are the same. They have no army. This appears to be a game mechanism to ensure that they become part of the Soviet Union.
02 Jun 1914: I want to transfer ships from 7th to 6th Schlachtschwadron. I first put the ships in a 3rd temporary fleet.
Then combine the temporary fleet with 6th Schlachtschwadron.
Voilà.
12 Jun 1914: The two units are fully trained and can be reassigned to Armee Übersee.
24 Jun 1914: That's the end of an independent Georgia.
25 Jun 1914: Armenia has been puppeted too.
The map does look a little different.
27 Jun 1914: I deploy the 6 Stoßtruppen-Divisionen, also the 1st Panzer Division and place them in training.
I increase the number of divisions to be recruited to 10.....
….then move the new divisions to Flanders where their future armies are.
05 Jul 1914: Great, Zeppelin Focus arrives.
I select Assert German Position in the West next.
11 Jul 1914: I import more oil from Austria-Hungary.
12 Jul 1914: Time to check on my neighbours. The UK is busy fighting the Irish rebels.
France is busy with itself too.
So is Italy. No apparent threats to the Empire.
Just curious about the stability of France.
Pas-de-Calais has some interesting resources....
Let's ban Fascism - I don't need competition on the Home Front.

28 Jan 1941: Just over one week after we responded to the brutal Soviet assault on Finland we have made considerable gains despite the many handicaps which have confronted us. Italy - HOI4 - Danzig or War?

06 Apr 1939 - Let us stroll around Europe and survey the mood at the brink of war. The Soviets have a very bad opinion of Germany. That is good news. My wars did that. The same in France. That is very good news. Poland needs all the friends it can get. To be expected. 07 April and the insatiable Adolf Hitler is grabbing more territory. 20 Apr 1939 and Radio Detection has been researched. I now select Advanced Machine Tools . I must keep my industry as modern as possible. I'm satisfied with the situation. 09 May 1939 and Computing Machine research is completed. I can now research Decryption-Frequency Analysis . It sounds interesting, 14 Jun 1939 - Decision day for Poland and they quite rightly presumed that Germany would want more than Danzig alone. Prussia - HOI4 - Drang Nach Osten (I)

06 Feb 1917: The Soviets call Georgia into the conflict.... ….and Mongolia too. 11 Feb 1917: Deep penetrations on the Northern Front. 12 Feb 1917: I divert a few divisions from 6th Army south then east to support the southern flank. 14 Feb 1917: The first naval battle ends in a German victory. 19 Feb 1917: I order a couple of divisions to advance on the Soviet capital Petrograd. Two weeks into the campaign and the road to Moscow appears to be free of defenders. Oh, we have lost air superiority over Eastern Germany. 23 Feb 1917: I deploy 6 air wings from my reserves to remedy the situation, 26 Feb 1917: We are at the gates of both Petrograd and Moscow. 27 Feb 1917: I add more MFs to Infantry Equipment and Fokker CAS aircraft. We have captured Novgorod so I send 4 more divisions from 5th Army to Petrograd. 28 Feb 1917: A defeat? 8 old destroyers sunk a battleship and a light cruiser. Give them some medals. We have only 137 dead! Almost a Sunday stroll.
