25 May 1913: I haven't produced any armoured vehicles yet but one day it may be useful.
28 May 1913: I upgrade a couple of divisions....
….and a few weeks later 2 more.
20 Jun 1913: Looking at the Romanian focus tree doesn't tell me anything of value.
23 Jun 1913: It is time to build airships so an improved variant is created....
….and put into production. Obviously not a priority weapon system for me.
01 Jul 1913: I want one in black too....
03 Jul 1913: The doctrine Mobile Position has been completed.
I select Improved Infantry Equipment I next.
04 Jul 1913: The war in China has finished....
….and the Qing Dynasty lost. I decide to improve relations with the new government.
05 Jul 1913: The official release.
11 Jul 1913: Our Black Sea Fleet has 24 destroyers so I split it into two fleets....
….and order the new 3rd Fleet to patrol in the Eastern Mediterranean.
27 Jul 1913: The naval doctrine High Seas Fleet is completed.
I select Early Support Weapons II for the army.
My research projects.
01 Aug 1913: I deploy 4 more infantry divisions....
….and put them in training. We have a total of 68 divisions now.
We have dropped to #8 in the world but are in group with Italy and the UK.
I start constructing our northern defences.
With a coastal fort too.

28 Jan 1941: Just over one week after we responded to the brutal Soviet assault on Finland we have made considerable gains despite the many handicaps which have confronted us. Italy - HOI4 - Danzig or War?

06 Apr 1939 - Let us stroll around Europe and survey the mood at the brink of war. The Soviets have a very bad opinion of Germany. That is good news. My wars did that. The same in France. That is very good news. Poland needs all the friends it can get. To be expected. 07 April and the insatiable Adolf Hitler is grabbing more territory. 20 Apr 1939 and Radio Detection has been researched. I now select Advanced Machine Tools . I must keep my industry as modern as possible. I'm satisfied with the situation. 09 May 1939 and Computing Machine research is completed. I can now research Decryption-Frequency Analysis . It sounds interesting, 14 Jun 1939 - Decision day for Poland and they quite rightly presumed that Germany would want more than Danzig alone. Germany now has a justification to attack Poland (game rules). Meanwhile at home my next focus will be Carrier Effort . Germany - HOI4 - Opposing Hitler

14 Sep 1937: The smoke has cleared and I update my Production. I have 57 MFs now but only 4 are being used on the Luftwaffe. Most of my aircraft designs are outdated though so I don't want to waste too much resources on that junk. My Heer (Army) is also short on everything.... That means I can take a shortcut back to the Heimat (home). 22 Sep 1937: The Oppose Hitler focus is completed.... ….no further comment required. That means Nazis versus the German Military Junta (me). We are at war again. I select the focus Reichsautobahn . The good news is that we vastly outnumber the Nazi forces. Unfortunately my forces are all over Europe and forming a frontline will take time which means I shall lose territory for a while. 23 Sep 1937: Reichsautobahn has been cancelled because I don't own some of the territory required.
