Ottoman - HOI4 - Need to Change Strategy?

17 Feb 1912: Well let's take a look at Serbia's focus tree. There are 7 days to the end of the current focus + 70 days if they choose Liberate the Balkans next and that means we have a minimum of 77 days, and that means early May, before the conflict can begin. The answer is no because I see no reason to change our strategy. We have good defensive positions and their armies are definitely not better than our army. We stick with the Bulgaria first plan.
So let's begin by returning divisions to Army Bulgaria.
18 Feb 1912: We could argue about that because Turkey and Italy now have a 4 year non-aggression pact which means that they can't intervene in a Balkan conflict against me.
I start building trench defences along the mountain ridge to help protect our left flank.
I only see seven of the new Infantry divisions there. The reserve divisions are lacking artillery.
23 Feb 1912: I convert a couple more 1st Army divisions.
26 Feb 1911: I can't remember ever meeting him.
That was to be expected.
03 Mar 1912: I assign Ahmed Izzet to the Military High Command - an entrenchment expert.
06 Mar 1912: Let's check the neighbours. The Serbs are forming an air force.
Bulgaria is developing the country (needs it).
Greece is building a military reserve. Always a good plan.
While Montenegro is expanding airfields and that means nobody has chosen Liberate the Balkans. So I now have a further 70 days.
09 Mar 1912: What equipment shortages do we have? 79 days for Field Guns.
Also 56 days for Infantry Equipment....
….and 106 days of Support Equipment.
14 Mar 1912: I move 3 divisions to the vacant state north of Skopje.
An improved variant of our new light cruiser is approved....
….and put into production. 
I assign two air wings to Army Bulgaria.
Recruitment is halted at the moment because of the lack of equipment.
29 Mar 1912: The trenches are slowly being built - very slowly....
31 Mar 1912: Trench Warfare Focus has arrived. Excellent.
I select Infrastructure Effort II next.
09 Apr 1912: The technology Mining I has been completed.
Time for a break. I'm satisfied that we are making progress. Until next time.

Welcome to a new game as Italy. Unlike Australia, Italy is already at war with Abyssinia, it is a fascist nation and has much larger armed forces. Germany - HOI4 - Looking Eastwards

18 Nov 1936: Research on Concentrated Industry II has completed. I choose to research the SP-AT Marder II which will make something useful out of my useless Pz. Is and Pz. IIs. 05 Dec 1936: The doctrine Delay is selected. The +15% organization is very useful. I also spend 150 PPs on Henschel tank designers with emphasis on speed and reliability 08 Dec 1936: I upgrade 8 more infantry divisions. 16 Dec 1936: The focus KdF-Wagen is completed. I choose Treaty with the USSR next - a joint tank design venture. I also deploy another 8 infantry divisions. 19 Dec 1936: AT-gun development has been completed. Time to develop a Fallschirmjäger force. 27 Dec 1936: Two fully trained motorized infantry divisions are assigned to Guderian's new Panzerarmee. Italy - HOI4 - Danzig or War?

06 Apr 1939 - Let us stroll around Europe and survey the mood at the brink of war. The Soviets have a very bad opinion of Germany. That is good news. My wars did that. The same in France. That is very good news. Poland needs all the friends it can get. To be expected. 07 April and the insatiable Adolf Hitler is grabbing more territory. 20 Apr 1939 and Radio Detection has been researched. I now select Advanced Machine Tools . I must keep my industry as modern as possible. I'm satisfied with the situation. 09 May 1939 and Computing Machine research is completed. I can now research Decryption-Frequency Analysis . It sounds interesting, 14 Jun 1939 - Decision day for Poland and they quite rightly presumed that Germany would want more than Danzig alone. Germany now has a justification to attack Poland (game rules). Meanwhile at home my next focus will be Carrier Effort .
