Italy - HOI4 - Preparations (II)

25 June 1936: A civil war in Spain ignites. I am tempted to send troops but decide against it for the moment.
If Franco is in need we shall help.
We can only send 2 divisions - not exactly a game-changer.
How about Lend Lease? I need the trucks...
 ...the tanks too.
I'll send a dozen close support aircraft.
De nada!
Time to plan our invasion. The goal of 2nd Army is to take Graz then Vienna.
1st Army's goals are Innsbruck and Salzburg. 
From the Army Group perspective.
More air assets are moved north.
All the aircraft committed in one picture.
Now I've assigned the bombers to the two armies. Note army colours on the assigned wings.
2nd Army for example has two tactical bomber wings assigned.
The 10 infantry divisions have completed their training...
...and are returned to 1st Army.
Notice that all 15 divisions are incorporated in the spearhead.
2nd Army has an estimated plan value of 80%.
1st Army will have same when the newly returned division settle in.
Everything is looking good. We just need to wait until the 20th of November.

Italy - HOI4 - Danzig or War?

06 Apr 1939 - Let us stroll around Europe and survey the mood at the brink of war. The Soviets have a very bad opinion of Germany. That is good news. My wars did that. The same in France. That is very good news. Poland needs all the friends it can get. To be expected. 07 April and the insatiable Adolf Hitler is grabbing more territory. 20 Apr 1939 and Radio Detection has been researched. I now select Advanced Machine Tools . I must keep my industry as modern as possible. I'm satisfied with the situation. 09 May 1939 and Computing Machine research is completed. I can now research Decryption-Frequency Analysis . It sounds interesting, 14 Jun 1939 - Decision day for Poland and they quite rightly presumed that Germany would want more than Danzig alone. Germany now has a justification to attack Poland (game rules). Meanwhile at home my next focus will be Carrier Effort . Prussia - HOI4 - Drang Nach Osten (I)

06 Feb 1917: The Soviets call Georgia into the conflict.... ….and Mongolia too. 11 Feb 1917: Deep penetrations on the Northern Front. 12 Feb 1917: I divert a few divisions from 6th Army south then east to support the southern flank. 14 Feb 1917: The first naval battle ends in a German victory. 19 Feb 1917: I order a couple of divisions to advance on the Soviet capital Petrograd. Two weeks into the campaign and the road to Moscow appears to be free of defenders. Oh, we have lost air superiority over Eastern Germany. 23 Feb 1917: I deploy 6 air wings from my reserves to remedy the situation, 26 Feb 1917: We are at the gates of both Petrograd and Moscow. 27 Feb 1917: I add more MFs to Infantry Equipment and Fokker CAS aircraft. We have captured Novgorod so I send 4 more divisions from 5th Army to Petrograd. 28 Feb 1917: A defeat? 8 old destroyers sunk a battleship and a light cruiser. Give them some medals.
