Prussia - HOI4 - Drang Nach Osten (II)

10 Mar 1917: It's a long way to Vladivostok so let's keep moving but I need to secure my rear against possible partisans.
That's those regions covered.
In the north I transfer 7 divisions from 5th Army to Army Baltikum….
….and order them to take Murmansk and Arkhangelsk.
11 Mar 1917: The bulk of our Armeegruppe is heading more southeast than east because we have to conquer the Caucasus, Crimea and also Tashkent in the Deep South.
12 Mar 1917: The focus Artillery Effort II has completed.
I select Doctrine Effort II next.
15 Mar 1917: We have captured Voronezh and are beyond Ukraine so now so 3rd Army (pink) can swing more south towards Rostov. We have new MFs....
….and I decide to increase Armoured Car production.
I'll need more oil so I import some from the USA.
My research projects.
20 Mar 1917: I deploy 15 Ersatz-Divisionen....
….and place them in training.
One spearhead is nearing the provisional capital Tsaritzyn (the would be Stalingrad). I also place the entire Armeeschule into the Besatzungsarmee. A lonely Soviet division needs to be dealt with.
The Soviets are now 40% towards capitulation and we have 203 dead!
29 Mar 1917: We are now crashing into the Caucasus with one column heading to Astrakhan on the Caspian Sea. We are nearing Georgia too.
30 Mar 1917: Forces are diverted to deal with another Soviet division.
31 Mar 1917: The technology Sterilization Effort has been researched.
The next project is Military Camera. Useful bonuses.
The Soviets are now at 59% - more than half-way to victory.
Taking the Caucasus and Crimea is next. Bis bald.

28 Jan 1941: Just over one week after we responded to the brutal Soviet assault on Finland we have made considerable gains despite the many handicaps which have confronted us. Italy - HOI4 - Danzig or War?

06 Apr 1939 - Let us stroll around Europe and survey the mood at the brink of war. The Soviets have a very bad opinion of Germany. That is good news. My wars did that. The same in France. That is very good news. Poland needs all the friends it can get. To be expected. 07 April and the insatiable Adolf Hitler is grabbing more territory. 20 Apr 1939 and Radio Detection has been researched. I now select Advanced Machine Tools . I must keep my industry as modern as possible. I'm satisfied with the situation. 09 May 1939 and Computing Machine research is completed. I can now research Decryption-Frequency Analysis . It sounds interesting, 14 Jun 1939 - Decision day for Poland and they quite rightly presumed that Germany would want more than Danzig alone. Germany now has a justification to attack Poland (game rules). Meanwhile at home my next focus will be Carrier Effort . Germany - HOI4 - Opposing Hitler

14 Sep 1937: The smoke has cleared and I update my Production. I have 57 MFs now but only 4 are being used on the Luftwaffe. Most of my aircraft designs are outdated though so I don't want to waste too much resources on that junk. My Heer (Army) is also short on everything.... That means I can take a shortcut back to the Heimat (home). 22 Sep 1937: The Oppose Hitler focus is completed.... ….no further comment required. That means Nazis versus the German Military Junta (me). We are at war again. I select the focus Reichsautobahn . The good news is that we vastly outnumber the Nazi forces. Unfortunately my forces are all over Europe and forming a frontline will take time which means I shall lose territory for a while. 23 Sep 1937: Reichsautobahn has been cancelled because I don't own some of the territory required.
