Prussia - HOI4 - New Challenges

17 Nov 1912: The 5 divisions 'on loan' from 1st Army are returned.
18 Nov 1912: Now its official. Sad that Franz Joseph forgot to mention our assistance.
I move the Zeppelin wing to Belgrade airfield because it is nearer to Montenegro.
I order 10th Army to the Montenegro front to contain the Entente forces there and eventually drive them into the sea.
23 Nov 1912: Back to the Western Front we can see that our Ardennes push is looking fine. The enemy forces appear to have run out of reserves.
I order 1st Army to Bitburg. This is now the main front. Montenegro is the sideshow. This will be a battle of attrition not maneuver.
At Montenegro half of 10th Army is already committed and I see only German aircraft in the skies.
24 Nov 1912: It says 47 divisions are attacking but actually only 4 fit in the front line. However since I am attacking from three sides then 12 divisions are probably involved. The remainder are 'in reserve'.
25 Nov 1912: Just before midnight we advance into the enemy's defences and we are there to stay.
9th Army is ordered to push further but there are couple of dozen enemy divisions in the immediate vicinity so it won't be easy. The frontline there is very confusing and desperately needs reorganization.
26 Nov 1912: World Tension is now at 40% or more so I change to Extensive Conscription. That costs 150 PP.
A little naval action.
To lend support to the offensive an air wing is assigned to 9th Army for dedicated direct support.
The war is going 0% in favour of the defenders???? Don't victories in Russia and Serbia count?
05 Dec 1912: I assign the 6 Austrian divisions to 10th Army.
08 Dec 1912: They automatically head to the frontline.
I order 6 divisions of 6th Army back north to where the rest of the Army is....
….and combine it with the Cavalry Army.
I recreate 1st Army Group with my cousin Crown Prince Rupprecht at the helm. The three armies are given three objectives.
The Army fronts are still confused but we shall take care of that in the next post. Bis bald.
