Prussia - HOI4 - Redployment (I)

05 Jan 1918: Both 5th and 8th Armies in Serbia have less than the maximum of 24 divisions so when a division in the Armeeschule becomes fully-trained I shall transfer it to Serbia.

I deploy 10 Stoßtruppen-Divisionen early....

….together with 2 Gebirgsjäger-Divisionen....

….and 2 Heavy Armour Divisions.

I adjust the recruitment schedule for the remaining Gebirgsjäger-Divisionen. 4 more will be recruited.

The new units are collected and sent to either Armeeschule….

….or Panzerschule.

I move 3rd Army to the Caucasus. They can be used as Garrison divisions if necessary.

I combine the two fleets....

….then it is assigned to patrol the Central and Eastern Mediterranean plus the Red Sea.

I plot a line of attack for 8th Army which of course can't be executed if Serbia has not been called into the war by Austria-Hungary.

06 Jan 1918: I receive the technology Heavy Artillery Upgrade.

I select Improved Radio. This has been overlooked and should have been done a couple of years ago.

09 Jan 1918: I select Armee Sudrussland because I intend making it a Field Army again,

11 Jan 1918: I cancel its current mission....

….and because it has 2 divisions too many I transfer the surplus units to 8th Army.

20 Jan 1918: I order the army to concentrate at Batum.

23 Jan 1918: We have received Oil Worker Training.

Now we can develop the Zeppelin V Class.

25 Jan 1918: I commence moving Air Wings from NW Europe to the Balkans.

Zeppelins too.

07 Feb 1918: I transfer another 48 Zeppelins making it a total of 96.

13 Feb 1918: I assign 3 Stoßtruppen-Division to North Africa....

….and place 8 of their Panzer-Divisionen in the Panzerschule for further training.

That ends this post, folks. Slowly but surely we are redeploying forces to operate in a new theatre of operations. We shall be ready! Bis bald....
